Kevin Allan is an acoustic pop singer-songwriter based in the Metro Detroit area who has been actively writing songs, performing and connecting with his artist peers for the past 10 years. His career started after he attended a Jason Mraz concert in 2012 at DTE in Clarkston, MI. At the time he had no since of direction on where he wanted to go with his life after recently dropping out of college for complications of Cystic Fibrosis. Dripping with Inspiration he began learning to play Guitar from his Dad who was longtime sound engineer and Multi-instrumentalist. He kept at it and eventually started to write songs and try them out at open mic nights all around Metro Detroit. After receiving a lot of praise for the art he was putting out there he knew it was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life at some capacity. Currently he is playing with a full band playing at clubs, local Coffeeshops, and some notable Concert Venues such as "The Ark,"Bling Pig","20 Front Street" and many more. Influenced stylistically by contemporary pop singer-songwriters such as Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, Allen Stone, and John Mayer. Kevin pursues to spark community, positivity, and hope through his art.
